When designing this brand’s identity,

I knew I wanted to create something unique and distinct while still incorporating various visual cues that relate back to recognizable identifiers of the trans community. Many non-profit organizations or community-based programs with similar values take on brand identities that are perceived as rather clinical and void of personality. From the get-go, it was my goal to achieve a visual identity that would be perceived as fun (!) and approachable while at the same time, motivated and trustworthy. I built a brightly vibrant color palette, bolstered by shades of the classic pink and blue dichotomy with accents of sea-green and peachy-pink. The graphic mark was developed by pulling apart structural components of the traditional male and female sex symbols and joining them harmoniously in a mark that is strong and confident, pointing ever-upward towards self and communal growth.
